About
Hello and welcome to Naivety Succeeds, which as the Belle and Sebastian lyric suggests is yet another blog headed by a oh so heartfelt white boy needlessly pontificating about music until he’s blue in the face. And heart of course, being such a fragile indie soul. Of course that last line may also indicate to you that I’ve also got a little bit of self-realisation between the blood-letting and re-organisation of my Super Furry Animals 7″s.
Not that I plan the blog to be just about music, but whatever I choose whenever I want to write it which is intended to sound less stroppy than it almost certainly does. The fact is, I’m a writer but I’ve been slipping recently doing less and less and so I needed to challenge myself a bit more with a (hopefully) daily exercise writing something for public display.
In case you’re wondering, I’m not famous. I’ve done a bunch of stuff online for small audiences who seem to have liked it but nothing you’ve probably heard of. Indeed, I’m only really hiding behind the username because my actual one is taken. Its not hard to find out who I am with a bit of creative research of course. But I wouldn’t bother wasting your time.
Welcome to Naivety Succeeds. *sniff* I always cry at endings….

I could be like the awful people and shout “First!” in my eager comment but insted I shall do a little smile and be pleased that I have more of your wordy things to read.

Hi Drew. I found the link via http://www.pressthebuttons.com linking to the article on game character naming and have spent the last week going though your entire site on and off. Some genuinely fascinating stuff in and amongst and I salute you for it.
